About the Class

Are there times when you say to yourself… “I need to finish this quilt… I really can’t wait for it to be quilted…” or “I want to make the whole quilt by myself!”… or even, “I wonder what else this fancy embroidery machine can do?”
Well, here’s the answer! This class will teach you the Easy-Connect Quilting technique with 100 plus designs to choose from to make it possible for you to create edge-to-edge quilting using you home embroidery machine. Just bring one of your SMALL quilt tops you’ve been hoarding all these years and let’s get it done! No need to bring your machine. We will be providing Bernina’s 770’s, embroidery foot, embroidery hoop, bobbin fill, Needle and straight stitch plate.

Edge to Edge Machine Quilting

Annette Houston

Annette Stout Houston started sewing at the age of 5. When her mother went to answer the door, she finished the apron waistbands that were laying before her. Ever since then she has enjoyed sewing with her Mother and Grandmother without using patterns. She began altering clothing and then making wedding dresses. Although she has 6 boys, she taught ALL of them to sew, including a few daughters-in-law. She managed a fabric store in Vegas until she moved back to Utah and began commercial embroidery. That's when the whole world came alive! She has been embroidering ever since. Some of her accomplishments have been embroidering for David Letterman, Bill Cosby, Orange County Choppers, and Caroll Shelby's Cobra. Annette has a little home-based business where she embroiders and long-arm quilts. She currently enjoys teaching and has been part of the Dave's Bernina family since 2013!
