About the Class

Create your own unique village with EasyPiecing Grid! Notice, you can shoose from THREE different sizes for your project! All half square triangles are included in overall yardage. This is a good project to use some of those left over HST and squares from your stash! Break down each house to squares and half square triangles.

Carmen Geddes

Carmen Geddes brings her love of quilting
and people together for a fun day of
Enjoy her friendly, low-key approach and her
great quilting techniques. She was named
Teacher of the Year at HMQS.
She has taught at many quilt shows around
the country including Houston Quilt Festival
and Road to California.
Her quilts have been featured in Fons and
Porter Scrappy Quilts and Love of Quilting,
Quilter's Newsletter, and McCall's Quilting
and Embroidery magazines.
She has developed the Tensisters Piping Tool
and Tensisters Easy Piecing Grid. She is
author and publisher of four companion
books, “Ten Quilts for Ten Sisters”, ""Quilts for
Kids"", “Seven Brothers Block Party”, and
“Around the Block Quilts”.
She has five children, twelve grandchildren
and resides in Spanish Fork, Utah with her
husband Patrick.

Fabric Requirements

Size before borders:
2” finished cut 2.5” squares. Finished size 50” x 68”
1.5” finished, cut 2” squares. Finished size 31.5” x 51”
1” finished, cut 1 1/2” squares. Finished size 25” x 34”
**Yardages are given for 2” finished.
Houses: 10 fat quarters or scraps for 2 yards total
Roofs: 5 fat quarters or scraps for 1 yard total
Patchwork: 5 fat quarters or scraps for 1 yard total
Background: 1 yard

Class Supply List

-Sewing machine and coordinating thread
-Basic Sewing Kit (scissors, seam ripper, bobbin, any other basic needs)
-Rotary cutter, ruler and cutting board
Iron/ ironing table or wool mat
