About the Class
Ready for a creative twist on your quilting retreat? Take a break from stitching and join Melanie for a relaxing paint party where you’ll learn to create a charming acrylic painting of a sewing machine beautifully decorated with flowers. This beginner-friendly class will guide you step by step, and you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind 16” X 20” canvas that celebrates both your love of sewing and your artistic side. All supplies are included in your class kit– just bring your imagination and get ready for some colorful fun!

My name is Melanie Cook. I have owned and operated a paint studio in Vernal for 8 years. I started with a passion for watercolor over 10 years ago, then transitioned to teaching acrylic paint nights. I love teaching people new techniques and skills that help them develop a new talent or hobby. When I'm not painting, you can find me outside. I enjoy spending time with my husband, three beautiful children and my grandson. I love gardening, golfing, spending the day on the lake, riding our RZR, fishing, and camping.
