About the Class
This pattern plays with Fat Eights to make half-square triangles that form a pinwheel in motion. The pattern gives you an option of two sizes, choose either size for your project. Enjoy playing with several fabrics to make your own special creation. Learn several techniques for making half-square triangles easy and more accurate as well as other quilting tips to help your quilt making. If you are a confident beginner, you should enjoy making this quilt.

Quilting is my Passion! I have been making quilts for over 30 years but
began sewing as a young girl making clothing for myself. I love all the
fabrics and patterns that are available and I can hardly wait to finish
one project to move onto the next one. I enjoy traditional piecing,
English Paper Piecing, Paper Piecing and working with wool.
After retiring from my full-time job, I began working at a quilt store.
For nine years I made quilt models, taught classes, and assisted
customers. In 2000, I purchased a long-arm machine and began
quilting as a business. I have made countless quilts and quilted over
5,000 quilts. I continue to quilt for myself and Quilts of Valor.
Next year I am excited to have two of my original quilt designs
published in Quilter’s World (Jan/Feb 2024) and American Quilter
(Sept/Oct 2024). I love making quilts and I enjoy teaching others to
love the art as well.
