Turn your fabric scraps into a stunning quilt you’ll love! Learn how to use the crumb technique to turn scraps into strips along with traditional piecing to make this hugs and kisses quilt in any size. The starting size quilt is 41” x 46”, but can easily be expanded to make larger quilts. You’ll learn how to make the two repeating blocks and sashing during the class so you can finish it later.

Fabric Requirements

For a 41” x 46” quilt, 2 1/4 yards background fabric plus a bin of fabric scraps

45mm rotary cutter and small cutting mat
TrueCut Triangle Ruler Right Angle 90 Degree
9 1/2” x 9 1/2” Square Ruler
Erasable fabric marking tool
Other suggested rulers: 3” x 18” and 6 1/2” x 24 1/2” rectangle rulers

Angelique Showman is a trained scientist and teacher. With degrees in Forensic Science, Entomology and Molecular Bioscience, she often thinks of sewing projects like science experiments, often deconstructing how a project is made and figure out which variables to change to make it her own. Angelique has been working for Grace Company for over two years, designing projects to share on their inspirational YouTube channel and teaching how to use their products on Grace’s support channel.
